  • Dear member
I also writer. I wrote several stories including kadal kalvettu and General and technical articles till date. Minimum of ten to twelve articles were published every year in various magazines inlcuding tamil and English magazines . How can you forget me?
    Dr L Kailasam
  • Dear,
    Madan is also our member
  • Dear members,
Kalki wrote in many names. His real name is Krishnamurthy. Whatever name he writes, on reading few lines of his story we easily identify the writings are from kalki . Can any body list the various names he used to write his essays and stories.

I also want to change may name. Till date I am writing in my original name. i.e. Dr L. Kailasam. Since I am having too much affection on my wife I changed my name to Lakshmi priyan.
    Your remarks may be informed.
  •   I changed my name to Lakshmi priyan.
    Hi
welcome to the world of male writers with feminine pseudonyms.

i think is a highly localised phenomenon though.
jayakanthan used to have a 'not too flattering name' for such
    writers.can anyone remember it?
sometime back somebody mentioned and i followed it up in a blog a
comment of a vetenerian in canada writing about V.V. `Sugi'
    Ganeshananthan's new novel Love Marriage

    this is what she commented

"Curious: Why does she choose a pen name that provides no clue about
her gender? I just recently paid attention to the fact that several
(male) writers in the Tamil language wrote under feminine pen names
(e.g., Sujatha, Anusha Venkatesh). So I've been mulling over this …
and contrasting it with the the negation of the feminine in the names
of some contemporary women writers (e.g., J.K. Rowling)"
