In chennai under the normal circumstances if one ambulance has to cross T. Nagar or traveling from guindy to nungambakkam or from koyambedu to Ashok nagar is how much difficult?? leave alone the emergency situations...
You would have known the new flyover constructed from panagal park to T.Nagar bus terminus, on the sides of flyover there is a space only for moving one fire engine vehicle (if no disturbances) but when ever I go there its very difficult to drive a car freely!!! its very dangerous... who would care??!!
Many things like this we can point out in chennai alone....
