  • Hi Shri,

Thanks. I wish i had climbed right up to the top, though - but only the
others did that. :) We did have a great time, though. That trip was a very
    memorable one.
  • when did that happen? and did you visit the Museum in GKCholapuram? Yesterday Ragav wrote about that. i would like to visit that museum..

  • Hi all ,

Heart greetings for all those who love Kalki and his immortal works. He is still with us though his works and great thinking.

May be next year we can do something to celebrate his 110th b'day in a special way.

    Greetings and regards,
    Priya
  • Hi Shri,

This was quite a while ago - I'll have to check the travelogues for the
dates. :) I believe it was Maalan who (when he heard about our trips into
the Chola heartlands) asked us to document every detail for future
reference. Yes, we did visit the museum as well - that was in the evening. I
always remind myself of Kalki's words about Vaanathi - that she was a
curious mixture of melancholy and gaiety, sort of like the dusk itself. The
wanderings among the saaram was a weird experience - half the time I felt
like I was walking on air. And I still remember the evening on the GKC
grounds, when everyone (Dr KK included) sang songs. And oh, also the
moonlight experience by the shore temple on the Mallai seashore (that was a
separate trip). Sps sir must have fond memories of that one too.

You def ought to make a visit (to the museum). Worth every moment.

    Cheer, P.
