Wow according to this article... is Kukulklan our Mahabali??? That would make Mahabali and vamana avatar at the time of Cholas... precisely when Uttama to Rajendra were ruling... Totally... If I was rajendra or Raja raja... i would be pretty darn upset if there was aswamedha that happened in my kingdom under my nose and logically, instead of sending a dwarf brahmin priest, I would have emptied my entire positioned army to get rid of the guy...

To the author of the article (assuming that what he said is true):
Bathalam means under world, never has it been said that Bali took to the vassals to go there...there must be the alternate travel (air or under ground)...
Now how did the dude travel across the earth's core... he must have had a super condensed ice box that is resistant to the hot nitro breeze down under and also has a nice food storage with good O2 supply... Now we are talking later day science with super human technology...
And... my naive no-knowledge sake, I believe snakes are worshipped across the globe some small and some big... now that would really spin the wheel on bathala lokam...

Well...what the heck... mexico is a great vacation spot for any one... I would be tempted to go there to "investigate" on Kukulklan...
