I had been to India, when this OCR thread was discussed. I just noticed being quoted on the OCR thread. Krupa had given the URL of my report too.
Ever since I had the link to the Tamil OCR up on my webpage, I have been getting many emails to simply send the source (most of them for their final year projects or for their course work). I do not agree to this and it was not my intention either.
I do hope to get back to developing the OCR - someday. If someone is willing to spear head the development of OCR, I am willing to do all I can.
Btw, this is the same Anbumani of Project Madurai.
