Pazhuvettaraiyar Pallippadai
  • In Pazhuvoor, in Trichy - Jeyamkondam road, several temples built by
    pazhuvettaraiyar family clan remain

    Avani ghandarpa iswaram
    Then vayil srikoil
    Sundareswara temple and so on

The keezhaiyur temple inscription talks about a temple which existed
then. It is called "Sri Kanda Iswaram" - The pallipadai of a
    Pazhuvettaraiyar.

The Thiruvalanthuraiyar shrine, which has heavily dilapidated has
inscriptions identifying each of its devakoshta images. All these
koshta images are lost - but their inscriptions remain. I always
remember one inscription that identifies a unique moorthy: "Sandhya
    Nirutta Devar"

The only inscriptional reference that proves that this moorthy was in
worship during chola period. Dr Kudavoil is of opinion that the image
at the western niche of big temple is the very same moorthy.
