Hi all, And the Irandaam yaathirai makkal, It may be late, but I just found time to read a book on temples around Pudukkottai. The book is called "Movement in Stone" (a study of some chola temples) by Mathuram Bhoothalingam. The book is quite old, (1968) but gives some nice descriptions of many temples of cholas. I scanned two temples' descriptions. You have stalwarts as guides, but, this could be of some help to you all. It also has some plates. The resolution may not be all that good because I wanted to reduce the file size. But it is readable. The first one is on Vijayalaya Choleeswaram. The book, Movement in Stone by Mathuram, Boothalingam is in Sudharsanam library. You may note that most of the Chozha temples mentioned in this book are located in Pudukkottai.
