Thanjai Nisumbasoodhani
  • > Thiruvalangadu copper plates describe Vijayalayan of having

The kuyavar theru maakali is often quoted as Vijayalaya's
Nisumbasoodhani and has been questioned by scholars

I found one surprising detail - not highlighted (atleast to me) before

The asuras sumbha and nisumbha are depicted near this kali's feet.
This is most unusual for kalis. We see mostly one asura on her feet or
nobody. This is one rare kali where both asuras are portrayed

The icon does not express chola features to my limited knowledge but
is certainly nisumba soodhany - may or may not belong to vijayalaya period
