Im sure most of the members familiar with computer games would have played or heard of the game called Age of Empires (there are 3-4 parts of this game) by Microsoft Corporation. Its quite exhaustive and brilliant in the portrayal of warfare before BC. The detail is just stunning. The use of trebuchets, battering rams, etc are all intricately portrayed. There are explanatory ntoes about each weapon, each civilisation is superbly detailed. The architecture is wonderfully researched even though there might be few errors its a good crash course on ancient weaponry while playing!!
