Why is Tamil so much associated with Pandyas, than Cholas?
Cholas indeed, gave us again the Thamizh Thirumurai and its segregation, patronage of Sekizhar, Kamban, Ottakoothar, etc.
Pandyas, had the pride of Patron Thalai, idai and kadai Changam, and thus become urarguably Tamil ruler. Even Kaviyarasar says 'Thenmaangu poonthamizhe THENNAADAN KULAMAGALE'.
