    Does anyone in the group know where
    I can get the following books?

    Pirkala So(l)ar Sarithiram - Sadashiva Pandarathar
    The Cholas - Neelakanta Shastri

    Any other suggestions which talk in detail about
    the chola history.

    let you know if they have it :)

    Folks, with reference to wanting to make PS
    collectables, here is the Chola Icon :) sent as
    attachment. Do you think it'd be nice to have t-shirts
    with a small print of the chola seal on it for the PS
    group?

    its an interesting thoght but the lion icon you sent might be of the later pallavas the cholas icon was the tiger.
    The earlier pallavas had nandi which was changed ny narasimha to lion

    I realised this a tad later, apparently the LTTE is
    retaining the Cholas tiger icon. Any idea why
    Narasimha Varmar I changed the nandi icon to that of
    a lion?
    Do we got these old flag icons anyplace on the
    internet?
